Design-build addition — bedroom and washroom added to the back of an existing home. Architecture, engineering, and construction completed during winter 2023-2024. A full-service project from concept to completion.
The challenge
Adding a bedroom and washroom to the back of an existing home during winter — when most contractors won't take on addition work. The project required architecture, engineering, and construction to be coordinated as a single design-build effort.
Our approach
Daniel offered design-build services, handling architecture, engineering, and construction under one contract. Despite winter conditions, the project was completed by early 2024. The team was respectful of the home and the homeowner, who lived in the house throughout the entire renovation process. The project came in within budget and on schedule.
